It’s that time of year again!

For nearly 100 years, we’ve been a part of the annual BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal with St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity. Donations to the Appeal help people secure or keep safe homes through the coldest parts of winter and all year round.

This year, BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal will be broadcast this Sunday 3rd December.

As well as the main Appeal with Revd Dr Sam Wells from St Martin-in-the-Fields, you can also listen to Making A Difference with Hugh Dennis.

Making A Difference tells the stories of the people The Connection and other beneficiaries of the Appeal have helped this year – people like Michael.

Our outreach team found Michael and encouraged him into the centre. Since then we have helped him to find temporary accommodation, access Universal Credit and schedule the hospital appointments he needs.

The main Appeal will be broadcast on Radio 4 on Sunday 3rd December at 7.55am and again at 9.25pm. Making a Difference will be broadcast at 9.45am and again at 5.40pm.
