Event: Skydive for The Connection

Skydive for The Connection
Skydive for The Connection

By joining our Skydive Challenge, you’ll not only achieve a breath-taking personal milestone but also make a real difference to those sleeping rough in our city.

Take on the ultimate challenge by jumping out of an aircraft at an incredible 13,000 feet, freefalling to earth at speeds of over 120 mph—all while making a difference for The Connection.

A tandem skydive is the simplest and most popular way to experience the thrill of skydiving. After just 30 minutes of training, you’ll be securely harnessed to a BPA (British Parachute Association) qualified instructor who handles everything, letting you focus on the breath-taking sensation of soaring through the clouds from over 10,000 feet. It’s an unforgettable adventure like no other!

Registration fee
£70.00 (Payable direct to Skyline on booking)

Minimum fundraising required
£395 – £450 minimum depending on airfield and cost of the jump

Remember to pick The Connection at St-Martin-in-the-Fields as your chosen charity when you sign up!

About us:
The Connection have been supporting people sleeping rough to move away from the streets for over 100 years. We get to know each person we work with. Many have been pushed to the edge, and they all have their own challenges to overcome.

Everyone needs to find their own way home, but we go with them every step of the journey. It often starts with a chat, the offer of a coffee and perhaps a hot meal or shower. Simple things that aren’t easy when you are living on the streets. We work with people to recover from the streets so that they can move on to a meaningful, fulfilling and settled life, long into the future.

What difference could you make?

  • £20 could fund a 1 hour session with a mental health worker.
  • £100 could fund 4 full initial assessments for newly homeless people, creating their action plans and giving them access to hot nutritious meals, showers, laundry and GP services
